The Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band today played at the Wythenshawe Local Pastoral Area's Year of Faith mass celebrated at the Forum Hall in Wythenshawe by the Rt Rev. Brian Noble, Emeritus Bishop of Shrewsbury, assisted by the clergy of the three Wythenshawe parishes, Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, St. Hilda's and St. Aidan's Parish, and Sacred Heart and St. Peter's Parish.


The Band played "Faith of our Fathers" and "I'll Sing a Hymn to Mary" as the clergy entered a packed Forum Hall.


After mass, the Band entertained the departing faithful with a 20-minute set of traditional Irish pipe tunes.
